ENDING AIDS TOGETHER (2016)

Produced by TruFilms, Ending AIDS Together is a powerful short documentary tracing the chronological progression of the U.S. global AIDS response. I edited the film, which became PEPFAR’s first advocacy video, blending interviews with leading voices in the movement with a centerpiece conversation between U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator Ambassador Deborah L. Birx and journalist Katie Couric. The result is both a historical reflection and a call to sustain momentum in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

VILLAGEWORKS (2016)

I edited this video for VillageWorks, a nonprofit that partners with craftspeople in Cambodian villages to produce fashion and home accessories for the global marketplace. The piece chronicles the creation of intricately handwoven cotton scarves, designed through a collaboration between VillageWorks and SERRV. More than a story about craft, the video reflects VillageWorks’ mission to rebuild Cambodia’s traditional Khmer textile industry, which was decimated by years of conflict, while also providing training and employment for underprivileged women. Through weaving and embroidery, these women gain economic independence and preserve a vital link to Cambodia’s cultural heritage.

THE IMPORTANCE OF RESILIENCE (2017)

I edited this video for McGee Media as part of a series promoting Option B, the bestselling book by Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant. This first installment introduces the project’s aim: to help people navigate grief and hardship by combining Sheryl’s personal reflections with Adam’s research on resilience. Through stories of individuals who have overcome profound challenges, the video underscores the book’s central message—that even in the face of adversity, it is possible to find strength and build a meaningful path forward.
