I believe in people
The work I care most about starts with people. Not issues, not campaigns. People. My work is grounded in empathy and a deep respect for the people whose stories I help bring to light. The woman navigating the immigration system alone. The man who spent 30 years in prison and came out determined to keep others from doing the same. The abortion clinic staff who show up every day despite the threats. I strive to find the truth in those stories, because stories are how we find each other across the distances that divide us.
